WRITING IEPs

As soon as you have installed the software, you can begin writing IEPs. To do this, start the IEP Wizard from the main menu.

Writing the IEP

After you have selected a child, you can enter general IEP details on the screen below.

Now you can create your IEP. The following screen lets you select any number of IEP targets. These targets have been provided by IEP specialist SEMERC.

The targets are automatically entered into your IEP, as shown below. You can then edit these targets to meet your requirements exactly.

Notice that examples, resources, strategies, activities and ideas have been suggested automatically for you. Also, the 'traffic light' lets you specify a status for the objective (e.g. planned, experienced, studied, achieved). If you have your own way of measuring achievement of targets, you can change this feature.

Printing the IEP

After you have finished the IEP, you can print or export it using the screen below. If you like, you can save the IEP as a Microsoft Word or PDF file.

The finished IEP can be previewed, printed and exported as required.
